About us
Tomecek Agronomy Services was founded in 2001 by Ed Tomecek (B.Sc. Hort., CCA), who started the independent crop consulting business, working primarily in processing tomatoes. He experienced a growing demand for his unique service as a trusted, independent crop advisor, and in 2006 his son, Joe Tomecek (B.Sc. Agr., CCA, 4R-NMS) joined the business.
Since then, Joe has helped to further expand and diversify the services that Tomecek Agronomy offers, to include consulting services on a variety of other crops, soil-sampling, crop planning and data management. The business has continued to grow, and we are proud to have a dedicated team of people with diverse skill sets join the "Tomecek Agronomy" family.
Our focus has been, and will always be, helping growers achieve their production goals, through an environmentally sustainable approach. We don't sell products, nor are we affiliated with any seed/chemical companies, so you know you are getting unbiased advice, specific to the needs of your operation. We pride ourselves on staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the industry, and have a wide network of researchers and specialists to draw upon when needed.
